Summary: Welcome to the Website of the East Midlands Group of the Motorcaravanners’ Club Gallery...........The Motorcaravanners Club is a Club run by motor caravanners for motor caravanners and was started in 1960. Apart from 3 admin staff at Club HQ in Malvern, the Club is run exclusively by volunteers. Within England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland the Club is organised into Groups and the East Midlands Group covers the areas of Rutland, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The Group is run by a volunteer Committee and was founded in 1962.

Casino Night Rally, Fun Farm, Weston, Spalding 22 to 24 March 2019 - -35 motorhomes arrived for our first visit to the Fun Farm at Weston, Spalding. There were visitors from Anglia (6), Yorkshire (1), East Wessex (1), Essex (1) as well as 26 vans from the East Midlands. Paul & Jane, Mick & Bernadette were our Stewards for this rally.

Cromford Rally 23 -28 August 2019 - -The rally opened in brilliant sunshine which continued all over the weekend. A total of 48 vans attended the rally with one each from Chiltern, West Wessex, Sussex and NWM&NW and two vans from Yorkshire and 42 from East Midlands with Jackie and Brian Gaylor and Sue and Peter Hopwood joining us for their first rally.

Smeatons Lakes 27 - 29 September 2019 -- Despite an atrocious weather forecast 23 intrepid “Motor Caravanners” 22 from East Midlands & 1 from Anglia group turned up for the Smeatons Lakes rally. The rally Marshalls were pleased to see most arrive early after experiencing rain and wind whilst setting up, as most attendees were in place before the next rain appeared. It was surprising that even after all the rain, the ground remained remarkably firm.

Grand Dinner Dance, Springfields 29 November to 1st December 2019 -- 58 vans booked for our Grand Dinner Dance at Springfields, Spalding. It was good to welcome not only East Midlands members, but some of our friends from Anglia, Nene Valley, Severn Valley and North West Midlands and North Wales.

Country and Western Rally at Ingoldmells Thursday 12th to 15th March 2020 - - 37 motorhomes booked into the Royal Arthur Centre Ingoldmells on a cold windy day, we were greeted by Brian, Yvonne and first time Stewards Ian and Jean.In the evening it was the usual bingo & quiz followed by lots of chat.We welcomed Peter & Marie from Anglia, Trevor & Carol Nene Valley and first time East Midlands members Frank & Valerie Egerton.
